I love watching Friends reruns on cable tv. It’s soothing to me to watch those reruns. It’s relaxing. You know what is crazy is that Jennifer Anniston still looks exactly the same as she did when the show was airing. I’m serious. She doesn’t look like she has aged at all. I’m sure she has had a lot of plastic surgery, or at the least is air brushed and computer generated or photoshopped.

Her skin and face look exactly the same as it did when she was on the show. It’s crazy. She also still seems the age, if you ask me. I mean, she never had kids or anything, so she still presents herself as a young 20 something girl, when she is not. I still love her hair. I love the “Jennifer” haircut. That is seriously what it is called and what I tell the hairdresser I want when I go in. They always know exactly what I’m talking about. It’s funny, and maybe old fashioned now, but I love the way that cut looks on me.

I’ve always been really into crafts and I’m glad that this DIY blogging revolution has taken off. It’s definitely been a great way for me to share all of my ideas with people and get some ideas from other crafters too! As soon as I was engaged I started thinking about all of the DIY things that I could do for my wedding and I have what I think are some really great ideas. My fiance doesn’t really mind what I do, so I’m making it an even bigger project than finding a wedding dress, much to my mom’s hesitation.

The last wedding I went to had the cutest little signs everywhere, leading guests to the ceremony, the reception, their tables. All kinds of stuff that I can’t wait to recreate on my own. I looked online to get some good ideas for DIY wedding signs and while I did that I saw a link about Debt Management. I looked through it and decided that we could use that info to help us manage our debt and start paying it off.

I found some downright adorable DIY wedding signs and I can’t wait to make my own versions of them.

Saving Sites for the Future.

I recently learned about a new online book-marking site called clipix. You can organize your favorite sites and the best part is you can then share them with your friends. After you sign up just drag the clip button to your tool bar and you are now ready to clip, save, and share your internet sites.

One thing I like about clipix is you can group your sites by category. Simply put your favorite recipe, news, and blogs into the appropriate categorizations and go right to the internet site you are looking for with a few simple clicks.

Create Syncboards and share with friends. You have the option of keeping the sites private. If you are like me, I am sure you would want your friends to check out your favorite places to visit on the internet.

My clipix is a work in progress at this time. I currently am adding new sites each day. I also added the clipix button to my side bar so visitors can see where I have been and enjoy my recent findings.

The possibilities of clipix are endless. You can make clipboards for traveling, parties, craft ideas, things for baby, and gifts. I could go on and on but I am sure you get the idea.

Clipix is also a great way to add new visitors to your blog. There is also an iPhone App so you can use clipix on the go. You never know when you might be out of town, surfing your phone and want to save a new site.

My brother and I got together last year for Christmas and got my parents a great satellite TV package. I would have never thought to Give A Dish as a gift, but my brother is so thoughtful when it comes to getting things he knows my parents will love. I wish I was as good at picking out gifts for them as he is.

I’m lucky I have him to guide me down the right path. I usually just tell him to pick out something and we buy t together since I don’t have a knack for gift giving. I was so psyched to know that my parents would really love the gift, and it was so easy to give. Our dad was probably more excited than our mom at first, but she was the one who ended up getting more use out of it since she is retired.

She got really into watching the Food Network and learning how to make new things, so that made my dad pretty excited. It was nice to finally find something that I could get for them that they really enjoy.

Since I was laid off last August I have had a lot of time to think. Going on numerous interviews and going up against people who are probably younger than me and maybe more qualified has left me with a sense of doom. Do not get me wrong, I will not give up and I do not believe in the “Whoa is me attitude” in any way shape or form.

I believe we are going through hard times much like in the days of the Great Depression. Yes, today we have to pay almost five bucks for a loaf of bread and then they may have only paid 5 cents. Still, when you only have so much it only goes so far.

I have looked into many employment aspects, including relocating to a different area. One such venture is a couple of states away and would involve looking into Car Transport Quotes. Of course there would be many other costs, but these are just ideas running around my head.

I sincerely hope that the economy picks up for everyone. Tough times, still we should all have hope.

There are so many good clear internet service providers it may actually be possible for me to convince my boss that he needs to let me work from home. I know it doesn’t sound like the best idea but for me it’s all about being able to get my work done and be with my kids and since they’re about to go off to school next year I really want to relish the time I have left with them.

I know so many other moms who do this too and I think it’s important to note that most of them have done it really successfully. Outside of starting my own business I can’t imagine another more flexible job than mine so it’s nice for me to remember what it’s like to be in the working world. I don’t want to lose the extra income but I know my husband’s happy I’m going to be home and more accountable for the kids, too, which is reason enough as it is!
