I posted about my experience driving through a Microburst yesterday afternoon on juliannah by design. If that was not bad enough today I had another couple of incidents that make me wonder what the heck is going on.

I went outside on my break and the wind was blowing quite hard. Nothing new there. But it was blowing directly at the building and the heavy steel door. I had to push hard to get out and when I went to go back in I had to pull hard to open it. Luckily I had the presence of mind to run in the door. If not I would have been taken out by the SLAMMING door. Heck of a way to get out of working the rest of the day.

But the fun was not over. I walked up to the elevator and the little red button was lit up and nobody was waiting. I waited awhile and no elevators came. I looked up and noticed that the elevators were not moving. Soon people began to gather there with me waiting for the elevators. Now some of these people work on the seventeenth floor so taking the stairs was not an option for them. I only work on the fourth floor so I could take the stairs. Like my lazy butt wants to do that! So I just waited. Then the elevators started moving again only they would not stop on the ground floor. After about ten minutes I contemplated the stairs once again and then finally one stopped and opened up. We all looked at each other and hesitantly boarded saying prayers and crossing our fingers. And toes.

Here is the topper. The people started talking about a movie where a bunch of people get stuck in an elevator. With Satan!
