I talked to Cpl Honda last night and I think he is finally comfortable with his school. He said he got 100% on a test and I must say he sounded very pleased. Sort of reminded me of when he was in the first grade and would come home and tell me he got all of his spelling words right. I did have something to do with that I might add. Sitting on the couch all those nights paid off.

But, I certainly had nothing to do with this test score. He also told me he developed a study system that seems to be working for him. I am not suprised he is doing well. He always puts everything into what he does and rarely gives up.

He is also enjoying taking charge of “his Marines.” I hear him barking orders to them on the phone all the time. Last night one of them came up and interupted him while talking to me and I heard say, “Hey, I talking to my mom right now!” Ahh.

So, anyway I am glad he is doing well and I can not wait till he brings his report card home.
