As I was reading the web this morning, I came across a story about David Arquette. Apparently he was at a Lakers game and was so moved during a halftime show that honored war veterans, he gave up is $3,7oo a ticket seat so the veterans could watch the rest of the game courtside.
This is a quote from one of the veterans. “I was so shocked to meet a celebrity who was so cool and so respectful of military guys like us,” says Army specialist Joey Paulk, a patient from UCLA’s Operation mend program, recognized Tuesday for providing plastic surgery to veterans severely injured in Iraq and Afghanistan. “I was speechless. It was like a dream come true.”
