Well, Cpl Honda made it home for post deployment leave. Not without trouble. He was set to leave at noon, but of course there was a kinck in that plan. His leave was not approved until the end. Does not matter though, because he is home. Hurry up and wait. Semper Gumby. Yeah, right!
We did not do much this weeked. Corvette had to work on Saturday. He wasn’t too happy about that but I told him just to think of the paycheck!
We will have a party next Saturday and then another family get together on Sumday. They should both be fun!

I love the way they keep shouting Arrgggg. It does not take much to amuse these guys!
I came up with a new recipe for burritos. I call them Pepperjack Burritos and they were yummy.
1 pound of browned ground beef
1 slice of ham (this was leftover so I decided to throw it in.)
2 tbls of Taco seasoning
3/4 pounds of Pepperjack cheese grated
Flour tortillas
Brown the ground beed, shredd the ham and add to the beef. Add the taco seasoning. Put the beef-ham mixture and cheese in a tortilla and roll it up. Enjoy!
Pretty easy!
