I happened to catch Oprah the other day after work. Tina Fey and Steve Carroll were on promoting their new movie, Date Night. I must admit, these two are very funny. I was laughing through the whole show.
The Date Night Movie opens tomorrow, April 9 2010 in theatres everywhere. I am sure I will see it, especially after watching the clip from the show. It would make the perfect “Date Night” date.
Tina Fey and Steve Carroll play Phil and Claire, a couple that has sort of lost the spark in their marriage. They decide to go on their weekly date night and end up lying in a restaurant about their last name to get a table sooner because the restaurant is busy and they arrived late. This results in their involvement in a series of adventures including breaking into a building, finding themselves in a car chase and a shootout in a strip club. After all of the calamities they find their marriage renewed and find a new appreciation for each other.
Here is the official Date Night movie trailer. It shows a few of the mishaps the couple experience.
You do not want to miss this movie. It looks like it is packed full of comedy, adventure and is definitely a real thrill ride!
