I was recently contacted about spreading the word about the band Saving Abel. They recently did a tour in the Persian Gulf with the USO to entertain the troops. As I have said many times, I love to hear about celebrities and musicians that take the time to go and visit with our military serving overseas. They deserve to have a piece of home come to them so they do not forget that we, the American people have not forgotten them.

So if you have never hear any of Saving Abel’s music here is a video of the song 18 Days. It includes many pictures of homecomings along with pictures of our troops serving overseas. Since I will soon attend Cpl Honda’s homecoming, the pictures really touched my heart as well as invoking a fear tears. I think everyone who has had a deployed family member can relate to this song.
